Intellilinks Review

Intellilinks ReviewIntellilinks is an advertising company that arranges connection between advertisers and publishers. According to them, they specialize in placing organic text links across their websites’ network to build rank and traffic for the advertisers. Intellilinks serve all the links as static HTML, which are spidered by Search Engines. Links are purchasable both in website layout and within the context of an article or blog post. Intellilinks places paid text link advertisements on the advertiser’s website and splits 50% of the revenue with them. This advertising firm has two types of ads.

Regular ads, which are shown as list of links of advertiser’s site (in its sidebar, for example).

Context ads, which link keywords that already appear in the body of advertiser’s website posts. Advertiser may choose to offer either type of advertisement, or both.

Advantages for Advertisers & Publishers.

  • The firm provides neat, organic links to be incorporated in a network of highly rated sites
  • It allows advertisers to choose specific niche for putting links to enhance their effect.
  • Uses CPM Method of payment, in which links are sold on a monthly basis. It is not dependent on CPC or CPA methods.
  • Publisher can sell text lines in their websites in a convenient way.
  • Publisher just needs to install a simple Plug-in to setup.
  • Publishers also enjoy total control in choice of links to be published in their sites.

Affiliate Program

Intellilinks encourages publishers to get affiliated with their program. It offers 15% monthly commission on advertisers or publishers who would sign up. If website owners refer an advertiser or a publisher, they will receive a 15% commission on whatever the advertisers spend and publisher earn each month. For instance, affiliates will receive 15% commission ($150) on May 1st either the advertiser spends or publisher earns $1,000 in April. The affiliation process is easy, you simply signup with Intellilinks, and you are provided with certain links and graphics to be placed in your website or be promoted in whatever way you like. Payments are done through Paypal into your account.

General Analysis

As I see it, the firm looks more like a link stock exchange. Intellilinks does not seem to sell links on their own websites, instead they engage site owners to allow them to sell links on CPM method, and post links to get commission. Now in order to weigh their performance honestly, we signed up and purchased some links from Intellilinks for a random website. There were lists of site descriptions, Sites’ page rank, and PPM in the purchase list. A page rank two link was going to cost us about 20 $ a month and a page rank 6 link was being sold for $100 per month on average. Anyhow, more than two months have now passed, and since then we have not received a single offer from them.

It looks as if they are quite content specific. If you have content that suits their advertisers, I think you’ll get a few good offers, if you don’t – you won’t. There may be something wrong other than the Intellilinks firm, but for us, it just never worked so far. Independent blogs and reviews also point to the fact that performance of the firm varies from client to client. For some people, it works fine, and for some other like us, it stays numb. But it did not work for us, doesn’t mean that I am rejecting its usefulness totally. Off course, I can at least recommend you to resort to it if you have not gotten any other good options.
